Actis was chosen to help the Lintas Employees Educational & Technical Development Trust create a training environment at its North-point Centre of Learning in Khandala (near Mumbai). This centre has two training halls and attracts both international and Indian professionals with a variety of training events and workshops. The challenge was to create a learning environment that is effective, easy-to-use and flexible enough to be adapted for various occasions - while meeting the expectations of participants from all over the globe.

In order to provide a flexible environment, Actis decided on a simple architecture that allowed for integrated control of large-screen displays, scene-based lighting controls, audio systems and session recording systems.
Actis designed an AV solution that included a ceiling mount, high brightness LCD projector linked to 'hidden' racks of audio visual equipment. A dimmable lighting control system is installed to create 'scenes' as per the application in the hall. Each hall may be used as an independent presentation facility or can be converted into a combined hall for large gatherings. All this at the touch of a button using the wireless touch panel installed in each of these halls.

A centre that matches global standards, is user-friendly and flexible in a way that can be adapted for various occasions like meetings, events, workshops and more.
