Actis solutions are deployed at the Welingkar Conference Room, Auditorium, Atrium, Brainstorm Room, Classrooms and for the Director’s Conference Room. The 80-seater, horseshoeshaped Conference Room is equipped with an Optical Rear Projection Screen, flanked by plasma displays on either sides and a 3-camera set-up that captures all angles of the Conference Room. A high-end Video Conferencing system helps connect with the outside world and a touch panel provides the user with complete control over the room lighting A well-equipped Auditorium serves as an effective tool to communicate with students/teachers through high–impact events.
Actis has integrated Welingkar’s 240- seater Auditorium with all the tools necessary to make this happen – this includes a 150” diagonal motorised screen, two optical screens on the sides and a 3-camera set-up that captures the audience as well as the stage area. The control room has a server rack that occupies minimal space and forms the backbone of this AV set-up, while the touch panel helps control all this technology without interfering with the ongoing event. |
| In order to promote creative thinking and better project management Welingkar has created a special area for this purpose, namely the Brainstorm Room. To help students present these ideas in a hassle-free format Actis has installed a 3-screen set-up for display. The room is equipped with a Video Conferencing facility and preset lighting control that helps change the light settings as per the requirement, for meetings or presentations. A user-friendly touch panel helps with managing these technologies with utmost ease. The room also has a Document Camera that helps share documents and 3D objects. |
| Actis has also put up digital signage in the Atrium, on the ground floor as well as the second floor. These are used to display the latest happenings or announcements in a way that can be viewed by students or faculty from anywhere in the building. Besides this Actis has also deployed Projectors and Audio Systems for the Welingkar Classrooms while a Mobile Video Conferencing unit has been provided which is shared between classrooms on a need basis. The unit can be easily moved from one room to another and set-up within seconds. The Director, Dr. Salunkhe’s personal Conference Room has been set-up with the same solutions as the 80-seater horseshoe-shaped Conference Room. |
