From concerts and various other events to corporate meetings, audio visual solutions play a major role in letting us see and hear what’s going on. The set up requires several products, such as speakers, wires, cables, amplifiers, and transmitters. Transmitters occupy a significant place in the audio visual layout.
Extron has introduced the DTP T 3G-SDI 230 D and DTP T 3G-SDI 330 D transmitters. These transmitters send 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, or SDI, audio, and bidirectional RS-232 and IR signals over a shielded CATx cable to Extron DTP-enabled products. They have built-in signal conversion for full compatibility with DTP receivers and DTP enabled products. These transmitters provide seamless integration of broadcast-type video signals into DTP Systems, supporting video rates up to 2.97 Gbps. They offer a mix of features such as an input loop-through, remote power capability, and bidirectional RS-232 and IR pass-through for remote AV device control. Both have a USB configuration port. The space-efficient, wall-mountable design provides the convenience of placing input connections precisely where they are needed.

The DTP T 3G‑SDI 230 D fully supports a maximum transmission distance of 230 feet (70 meters) for all compatible resolutions when used with CATx shielded twisted pair cable
Features of DTP T 3G-SDI 330 D are as follows:
Transmits 3G‑SDI, HD‑SDI, or SDI plus control and analog audio up to 330 feet (100 meters) over a shielded CATx cable.
Accepts 3G‑SDI/HD‑SDI/SDI signals up to 2.97 Gbps
One 3G‑SDI/HD‑SDI/SDI with buffered input loop-through on BNC connectors, one 3.5 mm stereo mini jack for audio
One DTP 330 twisted pair output on RJ‑45
The DTP T 3G‑SDI 330 D fully supports a maximum transmission distance of 330 feet (100 meters) for all compatible resolutions when used with CATx shielded twisted pair cable.
