Solution

The project that Actis undertook at this top bank included the implementation of technology in 39 rooms across a new corporate office building. This included enabling different workspaces, besides the leisure/general use spaces. The 22-seater Boardroom is equipped with a 120″ DNP rear projection screen and a Lifesize HD Video Conferencing system.

The sound delivery system includes JBL speakers at the front and Tannoy ceiling speakers. Control and automation features are enabled with a Crestron control system integrated with an iPad and with analog/digital connectivity provided on the table. A Samsung tablet with the installed Crestron application allows room bookings and scheduling with a few swipes. The reception features a large 4×4 video wall (with 16 x 55″ Panasonic monitors).

Meetings can be recorded and streamed to others using Lifesize’s Video Centre solution. There is also an Auditorium, which has an 85″ display powered by a 4200 lumen Panasonic WXGA Projector. Advanced audio mixing and processing via a Biamp Nexia TC processor optimise audio reproduction in the room. Room scheduling software allows better management of room usage. Advanced lighting controls offer preset lighting schemes via wired/wireless controllers.

The Final Impression

The banking and finance industry runs almost in real-time, all the time and demands agility from all participants. This makes access to high-quality information and highly reliable collaboration tools critical for key operational processes. The infrastructure created by Actis at the new Corporate Offices of one of the largest banks in the country provides team members and key stakeholders with virtually ubiquitous access to information.
